Bushcraft Experience

Creating our own fires through different lighting methods, we will use this warm space to unite as a team and cook together over the fire. From trap making, natural navigation, camouflage and concealment and woodland games, the day will end with an optional bushcraft tucker trail. Have you got what it takes to go back to your cave man/woman instincts and survive the woods?

Fire and Dens

Come and join us for a day in the woods and learn how to build shelters for protection from the elements, predators and a comfy place to hang out with your new friends. Use team work, perseverance and creativity to try and build a natural shelter as a group. To truly test our abilities we will learn how to create fire to keep us warm and most importantly roast some marshmallows. A day filled with exploring and playing the wonderful woods.

Rafted open canoes

Explore and learn canoe skills on the glorious River Thames, with two highly qualified and skilled instructors. Throughout the morning we will advance our paddling skills through a variety of games and challenges in rafted open canoes. After stopping to eat lunch on the river bank we will be heading upstream and through the lock at Pangbourne, exploring more of the historic River Thames. When we arrive back at Pangbourne we will finish with some water activities to help cool off before getting changed and finishing off the day with a certificate presentation.
