Introduction

Spend the day with your nearest and dearest immersed in a beautiful beech woodland, learning how to survive in the wilderness, with an experienced and qualified instructor. With courses running throughout the summer holidays, we aim to provide an unforgettably unique experience for all the family.

Tap into your instincts and learn how to make fire from an array of lighting methods, before cooking up some sweet bannock bread over the fire. Learn about the importance of shelter building and compete with the other families to make a homely shelter fancy enough to advertise on air BnB. Build your animal trap and if you are successful, you could even trap your instructor carrying your afternoon snack to cook over the fire. To finish off the day we will sit around nature’s TV (fire) and create a survival bracelet to take home to remind you of your day in the wild. It might even keep you out of a tricky situation once back in the urban jungle.

Throughout the day, when parents or guardians want to take the opportunity to enjoy a cuppa next to the fire, the kids will be burning off their excess energy by playing games in the woods with your instructor.

This is a fast pace course for bushcraft enthusiasts.
