1 Day Canoe Course - River Thames

Explore and learn canoe skills on the glorious River Thames, with two highly qualified and skilled instructors. Throughout the morning we will advance our paddling skills through a variety of games and challenges in open canoes. 

After stopping to eat lunch on the river bank we will be heading upstream and through the lock at Pangbourne, exploring more of the historic River Thames. 

As you journey along enjoying the backdrop of where the Wind in the Willows was set, you may even be lucky enough to spot our resident Otters, Kingfishers and Terrapins.

When we arrive back at Pangbourne weather permitting there will be time for a dip in the river if you choose. By the end of the day, you will be able to steer your canoe using a variety of strokes, manoeuvre and land your craft.
